A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
All new and transfer students are streamed through a series of modules featuring important information about the college. The sustainability orientation is under module 4 – student engagement. The orientation includes a video presentation about Vanier’s structure and initiatives related to sustainability, tips on applying sustainability to the daily lives and studies, and ways that students can become engaged in sustainability on campus (from volunteerism to academic programs). Additionally, there is an Eco Quiz and a resource site to further student learning opportunities while at Vanier.
