A brief summary of papers, guides, presentations, and other resources the institution has developed to share their sustainability experience with other institutions:

The Director of Sustainability presented on our energy efficiency efforts at Smart and Sustainable conference at University of Maryland in 2012. We are sharing documents and ideas through the statewide Educational Alliance for Sustainable Florida (EASF) Sustainability Network.

Valencia College's office of sustainability is an active participant in the statewide Educational Alliance for Sustainable Florida (EASF) Sustainability Network. We also participate in monthly conference calls of the Community College Sustainability group hosted by Johnson Community College, as well as AASHE webinars and conferences. We are members of SEED (Sustainability Education and Economic Development) of the Am Assoc of Community Colleges and have attended one SEED workshop.


A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

University of Central Florida is the four-year college which most of our graduates attend. We are learning about their Green Diploma program and trying to make connections between our environmental clubs and their green student team. We have visited the University of Florida Office of Sustainability and also sought ways to give our students a good start to go on with their sustainability programs.
