A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction:
Valencia College carries out periodic Employee Satisfaction Evaluations. In January 2011, an anonymous survey was sent to all full and part-time employees asking opinions and feedback on various issues related to workplace satisfaction. This survey was sent through campus email:
○ 700 faculty responded; 378 were adjuncts. The full results of the survey were posted in the employee intranet for review by all employees. Administration, particularly Human Resources, reviewed the results and determined appropriate steps to address relevant concerns.
