A brief description of how printing is limited:
Valencia College requires students to pay for printing in all computer labs and libraries.
Much of college business from registration to grades is now done electronically. Reports are not printed but are posted as PDFs on the college website.

The above link is for one of the campuses, but the practice of charging students for printing as a means to discourage excessive printing is throughout all the campuses.
