Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Targeted outreach- College conducts business opportunity meetings once a month through the procurement office.
Every potential vendor fills out supplier business profile, which includes indication of if women, minority, disabled veteran, etc., business. Officially no preference can be made during an RFP bid process. However, the college sends reports regarding minority owned, disabled veteran to the State.
Examples are that our sole concessionaire is a women-owned and disabled veteran owned business. Our three suppliers of Toner cartridges are minority owned.
