This reduction in Greenhouse Gas Emissions, at the same time as we added 30% more square footage with construction of 3 large (LEED Gold) buildings, reflects Valencia College's commitment to energy efficiency (OP-7). When our GHG inventories are completed for 2011 and 2012, we will be showing additional reductions from the Energy Education program (IN-1), which started in fall 2011. Meanwhile we are just beginning a focus on our Scope 3 emissions related to commuting, progress hopefully which will be reflected in the 2013 GHG inventory.
