A brief description of the child care program, policy, or practice:
Employees are responsible for arranging childcare. A childcare compensation scheme is available; you can apply for this childcare benefit with the Tax Office.
The employer’s contribution towards childcare is determined and paid out by the Tax Office. As a result, Utrecht University contributes toward childcare through tax levies.
In order to become eligible for this benefit the childcare centre will have to be registered with the municipality.
