Energy Wars

A brief description of the campaign:

The residence halls and academic buildings on campus compete to reduce energy use. The competition lasts through the month of October. The winning buildings gets a celebratory event. Both students and employees are targeted in the competition. Posters and digital signage are in academic buildings, and residences receive posters and assistance with bulletin boards. Emails go out the the entire sustainability list, which includes students and employees, and the Green Teams, which are primarily employees.

The competition occurs annually. The winning building reduced electricity use by 11.9% in 2021.
