A brief description of the incentive program(s):
This program began in 2015 with 17 faculty members and a PhD student participating. Each year participating faculty from fields as diverse as art history, civil engineering, business management, physics, and psychology reach 1,100 to 2,400 students more students. The workshop was not offered in 2020 or 2021 due to COVID. However, it is planned for May 2022.
Goals:
1. Changes/additions to course content that engage a new level of student and faculty inquiry through the broad lens of sustainability.
2. A community of learning that results in a flexible literacy of sustainability from local to global.
3. A community that is better prepared to identify and meet the challenges of a fast-changing world.
