A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:
In March of 2020, the Govardhan Ecovillage hosted students from USU who were participating in the study abroad program: A Passage to India: Yoga, Religion, Literature, and Sustainability. Immersing themselves in the cultural traditions, landscapes, art, and architecture of the subcontinent, students learned about the history and practice of yoga, the wide variety of religious traditions, and the ecological challenges faced by the nation. The program was approximately two weeks.
