A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
Utah State University's main campus is located primarily in Logan, Utah, although parts of the Logan campus are located in North Logan and Wellsville. We've done our best to include all of the main campus. Statewide campuses have been excluded.
Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
Present? | Included? | |
Agricultural school | Yes | Yes |
Medical school | No | No |
Other professional school with labs or clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary) | No | No |
Museum | Yes | Yes |
Satellite campus | Yes | No |
Farm larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres | Yes | Yes |
Agricultural experiment station larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres | No | No |
Hospital | No | No |
The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
Statewide campuses are located throughout Utah and have diverse operational systems, which makes data collection resource-intensive. Additionally, due to differences in administration, locations, structures, operation times, and student bodies, reports specific to each campus would more accurately reflect each system. This report focuses on the Logan campus.
