A brief description of the program, including examples of peer-to-peer outreach activities:
USU Ecoreps earn two course credits for peer-to-peer sustainability education. Classes usually meet twice per week, focusing on learning about sustainable lifestyle choices from discussion and field trips. Time outside class involves teamwork to develop materials and engage peers on the Logan campus in sustainability education. Students also have the opportunity to earn scholarships for participation.

Students submit information on their qualifications and contact the instructor for approval to sign up for the class.
A brief description of the formal training that the student educators receive to prepare them to conduct peer outreach:
Students meet weekly with time spent learning about behavior change and sustainable lifestyle choices in energy, food, waste and recycling, water, and transportation. The students develop lessons and materials to promote sustainable living.
A brief description of the financial and/or administrative support the institution provides to the program (e.g. annual budget and/or faculty/staff coordination):
The institution is providing the instructor time, class location, course credit, and an on-campus rent scholarships for participants.
