Although annual spending data was not able to be procured at this time, however it is in the contract with the college’s housekeeping vendor to purchase and use “green” cleaning products whenever possible. The contracted vendor offers a Greencare program in which they implement products that meet Green Seal Certified, Energy Star, and US Green Building Council standards.

Although annual spending data was not able to be procured at this time, Ursinus College endeavors to reuse its office and classroom furniture as much as practical. When purchasing new furniture, sustainability factors are considered. For example, in 2019, when outdoor furniture for the Schellhase Commons Building was purchased, the furniture products and vendor were certified by the Cradle to Cradle Institute.
