Several of our LEED buildings provide shower facilities for bicycle commuters. The College of Business and Geology buildings provide lockers for commuters.

UW has provided bicycle parking & storage racks for all occupied buildings and makes them available for students. http://www.uwyo.edu/rec/outdoor-program/_files/docs/uw-bike-paths.pdf In addition, bike locker facilities are available for students living in the residence halls and an enclosed bike locker can be rented for the semester. In working towards the University’s goals of responsible environmental stewardship and community development, the Fuel Efficient and Low Emitting Vehicle Parking Program are being piloted at the Visual Arts Facility as part of its LEED Platinum certification. Free University of Wyoming “LE” permit is issued for qualifying Fuel Efficient and Low Emitting Vehicles. To qualify for the “LE” parking permit, a vehicle must achieve a minimum green score of 40 on the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy annual rating guide. The “LE” parking permit encourages the use of these automobiles through designated University lots.
