In spring 2017 UW hosted a low-waste "Conservation Cowboys" basketball game. In fall 2017, UW hosted two low-waste "Conservation Cowboys" football games and a volleyball game. Trash talkers supported waste diversion with fans and created a Mt. Trashmore educational demonstration of waste and recycling volumes. Additionally, Trihydro, Rocky Mountain Power, and Black Hills Energy sponsor education for waste and energy sustainability during halftime events and on recycling infrastructure.
