A brief description of the institution’s bicycle program, including the year the award was achieved and/or renewed:

University of Wyoming (UW) embrace the enthusiasm for more bicycle-friendly campuses and encourage alternative means of transportation by incorporating bike rental programs, bicycle, and pedestrian safety committee, and policies to promote bicycling as a preferred means of transportation on the UW–Laramie campus and in the Laramie community. In 2016, University of Wyoming is a designated Bike Friendly University by the League of American Bicyclists.

The UW Outdoor Program provides bikes for rent for the semester to UW students, faculty and staff through the Pokes Spokes' Bike Library.
