A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:
Two guiding principles in the Residence Hall Renewal Plan include: more privacy in the bathroom areas while maintaining community bathrooms, and ensuring each floor or cube should be able to accommodate men, women and transgender students.
Students can check a box on the Housing form to request a roommate who is LGBTQ-friendly. Resident Advisors (RAs) are also strongly encouraged to participate in Safe Space training so they can provide support to LGBTQ and Ally students.
