While we don't have a standard or guideline that we follow we have multiple EHS systems in place that inform our larger OHSMS system. Taking into consideration areas such as bloodborne pathogens, ergonomics, hazard communication, occupational noise exposure, PPE, powered equipment, risk assessment, slips and trips and finally incident reporting. While the majority of employees within UWSP are rarely in occupational hazards the EHS team attempts to maintain a holistic approach to safety on campus.

Recordable incidents of work-related injury or ill health are tracked through methodology provided by OSHA guidance on recordkeeping (29 CFR Part 1910.440) and recordable injuries and illnesses (29 CFR Part 1904).
