A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:
UW Stevens Point Dining and Summer Conferences has banned the sale of single-use plastic water bottles and plastic straws. We have reusable filling stations for students to use and aluminum Open Water/Dasani brand bottles for students to purchase. Compostable take out boxes are also utilized across the campus.

This ban is only related to our dining and retail locations managed by dining it currently does not have application with our subcontracted vending services.
