A list or brief description of the sustainability resource center or awards program and submission(s):
Multiple studies have been shared and published in external journals and news outlets but also remain available through the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education. The Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education (WCEE) strives to improve the environmental, social, and economic vitality of our communities. To achieve this, we develop and deliver teacher training and resources to enhance place-based, personally-relevant hands-on opportunities and career explorations that allow for meaningful learning experiences for all students.

A list or brief description of the board or committee appointment(s):
Samantha Kaplan- a UWSP Professors, has been leading the efforts towards hosting the Upper Midwest Association for Campus Sustainability Conference (UMACS).

Dave Barbier- campus sustainability director collaborates each year with other Univesity of Wisconsin Sustainability offices to host the UW System Sustainability conference. Dave also assisted during the annual AASHE conference to facilitate the UMACS Networking event.

Michelle Gullickson- Research Assistant working in the Office of Sustainability is in charge of organizing and facilitating the first Campus Action and Resiliency Planning meeting. This meeting will host a large audience in an attempt to have multidisciplinary contributions.

School of Education/Office of Sustainability/Continuing Education Office - Co-hosted the Upper Midwest Association of Campus Sustainability Conference in 2021. This was a virtual event that showcased research, projects and progress towards sustainability in the UMACS region.

Does the institution have an ongoing mentoring relationship with another institution through which it assists the institution with its sustainability reporting and/or the development of its sustainability program?:
Yes

A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:
The UW System 13 campus sustainability offices meet monthly to collaborate, brainstorm and provide feedback to each of the other campuses. One of the working groups that we engage with has been the the UW-System AASHE stars working group. That recently presented at GCSHE and was the initial auditor of this report.

Several of our extension programs mentor other institutions and community programs. Some examples:
Center for Land Use Education specialists, with input from our partners, create learning opportunities for communities. By providing up-to-date, comprehensive training on planning and zoning taylored to address specific local needs, our specialist are able to assist towns, villages, cities and counties in making sound land use decisions.

Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology

UW Extension Lakes work with the 766 lake organizations in Wisconsin and coordinate a number of programs and projects to assist those concerned with the future of our lakes.

A brief description of other inter-campus collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year :
The UW System Offices of Sustainability have a collaborative google drive of AASHE Stars data that is applicable to all campuses. We have an AASHE STARS working group that meets to train campuses in reporting and answer any questions. This working group meets once a month and is working towards standardizing some of the sustainability focused efforts across the campus.
