A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Sustainability has been a critical component of our campus culture for decades, and we are proud to be a role model and leader for other institutions.

We are “Pointing the way to a Sustainable Future” through campus, community, and academic initiatives.

Example of what is available on UWSP's website:

Take 5 - 10 minutes to view the self-guided New Faculty and Staff Sustainability Orientation to learn what sustainability is and what UW-Stevens Point is doing to advance our sustainability performance.

To support these initiatives you can:
walk, bike, carpool, or use public transportation to get to work
recycle and compost your waste while on campus
turn off your office lights when you are not in
encourage and purchase green office supplies
