The Office of Sustainability at UWSP posts on Facebook & Instragram daily to share sustainability news on a local, regional, and national scale. Additionally, we have a UWSP Bikes social media presence run by the Office of Sustainability.

The College of Natural Resources produces an educational podcast for students and faculty in the college. The podcast discusses topics related to soils, waste, wildlife, fisheries, and more.

The College of Natural Resources also produces a weekly CNR Reporter. This discusses campus events and updates related to sustainability as well as employment opportunities.

Signage

Yes

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Bee Campus USA Signage has been used across campus to signify pesticide and herbicide free areas.

Bike routes and bike parking have been labeled accordingly.

Any project funded by Greenfund is also recognized with signage such as the cover bike storage, Theatre equipment storage space, and the electric vehicle charging station.

Sustainability map or tour

Yes

A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:
Imbedded in every campus tour are aspects of sustainability as well. Student tour guides discuss the solar panels on our residential halls, that we run on 100% electricity, we have native planting landscapes, our composting and recycling opportunities for students, and more.

A UWSP Biking Friendly maps shows all bike parking and repair stations.

Yes

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
The green living guide highlights a few key ways that students/staff can support sustainability in their homes (on or off campus). It is related to our GROW program that focuses primarily on Offices and Workspaces in an attempt to make a more holistic approach to sustainability.
