A spreadsheet of each college's courses were sent to the respective dean(s). Faculty/Staff of each helped to mark whether a course was sustainability-focused or sustainability-related. Office of Sustainability staff also assisted with editing and organizing spreadsheet.

If courses were taught at both Graduate and Undergraduate levels they were counted in both categories. If courses are a combined major course (for example, a course that is both a soil and waste course), they were counted in both categories.
