A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:

Greenfund is run by the Student Sustainability and Environmental Affairs director through Student Government Association. This student facilitates the meeting however cannot vote on projects. The committee is made up of 8-15 students. Greenfund meetings have the applicants present their case and students deliberate whether or not to fund the project. The next meeting, students vote in support or against funding the project. The proposal is then taken to SUFAC committee to approve. Students on the committee represent a variety of areas such as a required Residental Living Assocation member, Office of Sustainabilty member, and members from each college.
