In 2019, the Office of Sustainability and 350 Stevens Point collaborated to formulate the outline, questions, and goals. They also collaborated with UWSP Natural Resource Professors and Yale Climate Communications.

1. Please select your level of awareness of each campus program- SGA Greenfund, Office of Sustainability, 350 Stevens Point, UWSP Carbon Neutrality Plan, Students for Sustainability, Bicycle Repair Stations,composting in the residential halls, green on the go containers, the backpack and cupboard, campus garden, Fairtrade USA Certification, Stevens Point Central Transportation Campus Bus Route, SGA- Environmental and Sustainability Committee.
2. Which of the following activities would you be willing to engage in?
recycling, composting, contacting legislators, protesting, voting, volunteering, and using a reusable water bottle.
3. Rank your level of interest in each of these possible campus sustainability initiatives? Zero waste events, increase vegetarian and vegan options, bike share program, expansion of the campus-wide composting program, increase water bottle filling stations, increased efforts towards carbon neutrality goals, and decreased availability in single-use plastics.

A brief description of how representative samples were reached (if applicable) and how the cultural assessment is administered:
The survey was created using Qualtrics and was administered to all UWSP Main Campus and two branch campus students, staff, and faculty via email. The survey was live for three weeks and was sent to each eligible participant's email three times. We also asked faculty and student organizations to share it.
A brief summary of results from the cultural assessment:
Participants were most aware of the Campus Surplus Sales, Composting program, and green on the go containers. They were least aware of Green Fund, 350 Stevens Point, and the Carbon Neutrality plan.
Participants were most willing to recycling, compost, and shop at the farmer's market. They were less likely to protest, contact legislators, and attend sustainability events.
Participants were most interested in seeing an increase in water bottle filling stations, decrease use of single-use plastics, and expanding composting programs.
