Examples of outreach include:

-Work on Projects addressing the environment and sustainability issues on Campus and system-wide
-Promote and administer the SGA Green Fund

A brief description of the student educators program’s target audience (1st program):

The target audience for this committee is the entire UWSP student body. We've said 100% here as it is open to all and actions of this groups can end up impacting the whole of the student body or representing them as such.
All of the events hosted by this group are free and open to all students.
Student educators are trained by attending weekly committee meetings and being paired with a project co-lead. A more experienced member is placed with a new member to transfer knowledge and skills.

An example of an outreach activity was hosting the Bee Movie in Fall 2019. We had a presentation beforehand about native pollinator species and the importance of home gardens. This event was accessible in our campus theatre and open to all students.

The program also works on passing campus legistaion that can be used as a teaching tool to student and in some cases even community members about relevant issues to sustainability, such as divestment, single use plastic and zero waste efforts and DEI issues.

This committee actively engages in tabling and student involvement fairs and campus Earthday efforts adding to their outreach and education goals.
