A brief description of the sustainability coordinator’s position:

Under the general direction of the Director of Facility Services, the position oversees the UW-Stevens Point sustainability programming and reporting initiatives. The Sustainability Coordinator will work collaboratively with the UWSP Sustainability Task Force, Facility Services, UWSP administration, faculty, staff, and student organizations to encourage and promote sustainable practices on campus. In summary, the Sustainability Coordinator position is responsible for the advancement educational and environmental performance through a variety of activities including: energy data collection, compilation and reporting; the completion and coordination of sustainability planning, projects and events. This position will assist in meeting the goals of the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment and provide outreach to individuals and organizations both internal and external to the University.
