The UWRF Foundation Investment Committee oversees the Foundation's investments and actively reviews and discusses ESG philosophy and investments as a standing item on the Committee's agendas. In addition, the ESG sub-committee formally reviews the ESG philosophy of the Foundation and the Investment Managers about all stakeholders annually. The Investment Policy Statement is updated as needed to ensure it remains aligned with the evolving philosophy. The sub-committee will request a manager search if the ESG philosophy of the Manager and the Foundation ESG philosophy begin to diverge.

The Foundation’s bylaws specify the formation of the Investment Committee, which is responsible for recommending and maintaining the investment policy, managing the Foundation’s investments, and recommending and monitoring the Investment Manager(s) as deemed prudent and appropriate. The Investment Policy Statement maintained by this committee must be ratified and approved by the Board. The Investment Policy Statement includes the ESG philosophy and the responsibilities and accountabilities of the Investment Committee and the Investment Manager(s) concerning ESG.
