A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
Information for this credit was gathered from the UWRF Transportation/Campus Amenities Survey which was administered in October, 2017. Previous data was from 2005.

'More sustainable Commuting Options' was interpreted as any commuting method that was not driving alone in a single occupancy vehicle. The survey went out to a representative sample of students. 413 students took the survey which was 16% of students invited to participate. Given our student population, the data collected is estimated at being accurate to within =/- 4.7% with 95% confidence.

A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting:
Information for this credit was gathered from the UWRF Transportation/Campus Amenities Survey which was administered in October, 2017. Previous data was from 2005.

'More sustainable Commuting Options' was interpreted as any commuting method that was not driving alone in a single occupancy vehicle. The survey went out to all faculty and staff. 316 faculty/staff took the survey which was 39% of those invited to participate. Given our employee population, the data collected is estimated at being accurate to within =/- 4.3% with 95% confidence.
