A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

The campus fleet which is managed by Facilities Management has supported the purchase of flex fuel vehicles for several years.  Staff also assisted in the development of a community NEV ordinance.  The ordinance has been in place for several years and supports the use of the NEVs on the campus.  Departments such as Postal Services, University and Center Production Services staff use NEVs as a part of their daily operations.   Grounds, University Police, Falcon Center, Athletics, Campus Recreation, and Res Life use golf carts, gators, and e-gators.
