University Fellow for Diversity and Inclusivity
1. Workforce Diversity: Work with the university's AA/EEO officer to assess the status and trends of workforce diversity at UWRF, identify successes and challenges, and develop and implement ideas to make further progress.
2. Workforce Campus Climate and Leadership Development: Review key documents related to campus climate and related issues at UWRF and develop practical ideas that could be implemented to improve campus climate that would include, but not be limited to, professional development opportunities for campus leaders and the entire university workforce.
Diversity and Inclusivity Committee (Faculty Senate) goals:
a. To facilitate the advancement of diverse campus populations.
b. To seek ways to encourage faculty and academic staff development focused on diversity issues
c. To assess reports and information on the campus climate as it relates to diversity issues and make appropriate recommendations for improvement to the Faculty Senate.
d. To establish and maintain communication links between the committee and relevant student organizations as well as the broader community (City of River Falls, School District of River Falls, etc.).
e. To seek ways to encourage infusion of diversity content into the University curriculum and courses.
f. To collaborate with Library Collections regarding the acquisition of materials as they relate to diversity and review the annual state-of-the-library report that is prepared for the Learning Resources Committee.

Cultural Competence Trainings are provided for the campus community as part of the coordination of the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, the Faculty Senate Diversity and Inclusivity Committee, and the Office of Student Involvement (via Student Organizations)
Recent trainings have included:
-The 2016 Diversity Speaker and Discussion Series
-Fall 2015 Campus Speaker on Rape and Sexual Assault Awareness
-Fall 2015 Campus Speaker on Civil Rights
