A brief description of the LCCA policy(ies) and practice(s):
Life Cycle Cost Analysis is often referred to in the Purchasing world as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and refers to all the cost involved with the purchase (from cradle to grave) which may include such things as extracting and processing raw materials, manufacturing, transportation, distribution, maintenance, recycling, and final disposal.
We do not currently employ Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) as a matter of policy or practice.
