Reason for excluding satellite campus:
The Hudson Center is leased space and unlike the main campus, the Center is not submetered. Because we report energy data thoroughly for most other campus buildings in various areas of STARS, we felt it would be misleading to claim this space in some areas and not so in others, at least to some level of specificity.

Reason for excluding farm:
The campus has two Laboratory Farms. The Campus Lab Farm is included in the Institutional Boundary and is approximately 130 acres in size and primarily supports our Equine enterprise. Approximately 40 acres supports our Horticulture as well as Environmental Science and Forestry Projects.
The Mann Valley Farm located 2.5 miles NW of town is approximately 475 acres and is home to our beef, dairy, sheep, and swine operations.
A Farms Master Plan began in 2013 and was wrapped up in Summer 2014. It will guide all future programs and facilities for the Farms with an approximate 20 year horizon. There is a strong sustainability theme weaved into the overall plan, including renewable energy (solar, wind), storing stormwater and land use management.
