Secure bike storage is offered under breezeways in various residence halls and campus buildings. 50 bike lockers are available for rent on campus on a first-come/first-served basis. Showers, lockers, and under-roof bike storage is available at the Regional Development Institute building.

All non-residential buildings have short-term bicycle parking racks within 50ft.

Stratton Hall, Prucha Hall more recently, has long-term bicycle storage available. All residential buildings have bicycle parking racks.

A bicycle rental program is run and funded through Kinni Outdoor Adventures, effective summer 2013. The rentals are free to students, with nominal rental fees for faculty, staff, and community members.

A car/vanpool rider board was installed in the University Center in 2012.

Since October 2012, Students, employees, and community members can purchase an annual membership to Car Share, which gives them hourly, daily, or overnight access to two Toyota Prius' located on campus near the campus fleet. Fuel and insurance are included in the hourly rates.

We Bike River Falls promotes bicycle friendly transportation and recreation options through education and awareness programs for a safe, healthy, and sustainable community. We Bike RF holds the Bike to Work Week: Commuter Challenge.

We Bike River Falls is a collaborative project through the UWRF Office of Student Life and engages a broad group of university faculty and staff, students, River Falls citizens, city officials, and others.

Bicycle Rental is offered through the Recreation Department's Kinni Outdoor Adventures Rental Center, which also provides bicycle tune-ups.

"Get on the Bus" is hosted by Student Life and is a great opportunity to visit fun places in the Twin Cities. Each Get on the Bus experience focuses on a different location, event, or activity. Most of these opportunities are free or very inexpensive. Popular trips include: Mall of America, Como Zoo, Midtown Global Market, Minnesota Twins baseball game, Minnesota Swarm lacrosse game, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.

"Twin Cities Shuttle" The Twin Cities Shuttle is an inexpensive opportunity for students to explore the Twin Cities. The shuttle picks students up outside the University Center building and drops them off at the Mall of America at either 9 a.m. or 3 p.m. From the Mall of America students can explore different areas of the Twin Cities using the Metro Transit system. Shuttle tickets are only $10!

CarShare by Enterprise: Enterprise Rent-A-Car offers car sharing on campus through Enterprise CarShare to go where you want, when you want, 24/7. It's a car sharing program that allows you to reserve a car by the hour for one, all-inclusive price. Unlike traditional rental, you only have to be 18 years old. If you are between the ages of 18-20 you will need a parent's signature.

River Falls Taxi: Round-trip taxi service is provided at no charge with the presentation of a valid UW-River Falls student I.D. to: River Falls Medical Clinic, Pierce County Reproductive Health Services, Saint Croix Valley Sexual Assault Response Team Center.
Trips within River Falls are subsidized and cost $2.75 per person.

Airport Shuttle for international students: The airport shuttle is available to only international students to ensure they have travel to and from the airport at the end of each semester. International Student Services will do all the arrangements for those students who need to be taken to the MSP International Airport.
