The Sustainable Campus Community Plan (SCCPlan) is organized around the AASHE STARS structure and was based on the outcome of the 2011 STARS submission. The plan, which is one of the most comprehensive plans existing at institutions of higher education, includes budgetary estimates for recommended actions.
The plan was drafted and vetted by the Sustainability Working Group, Student Senate, Faculty Senate, and the Executive Committee before being signed by the Chancellor for use in planning purposes in June 2012.

The SCCPlan closely follows the STARS outline, highlighting best practices where STARS credits have been met in full and suggesting specific priority actions to achieve those that have not been met in full.
