From Aug 1 2010 to July 31, 2011 total food/beverage purchases were $2,049,557. Local food expenditures during this time period were as follows:
Falcon Foods $31,933 (Primarily cheese, ice cream, and bratwurst)
Kemps $116,044 (From the Rochester plant; milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream, and the like)
Sysco $142,184 (Sysco pulled a report of all purchases from locations within 150 miles of their distribution center in NW Minneapolis.)
Bix $3,805 (local producers of vegetables, cheeses, and other items)
Stockyard Meats $13,163 (Sodexo purchases their steak from this butcher in Minneapolis)
Earthgrains $32,441 (A bakery in the Twin Cities that Sodexo purchases bread from).
Caribou Coffee $18,417 (The amount of coffee purchased from Caribou, based in the Twin Cities).
