A brief description of the on-site renewable electricity generating facilities/devices:
In 2011 the University installed a small wind tower (20Kw) and several solar panels on Engineering Hall(5kw). The standard tracking method went down in Jan. 2019 so we are missing data. The quantity of kWh provided above is an average of the last three years of production that was recorded. The wind turbine has been off line for an indeterminant amount of time and had been producing a very small amount of power. The University has also just installed a 2.4 MW ground mounted solar array which just started production in mid August of 2022 so we do not have a full year of production to report at this time.

The Wisconsin Department of Administration purchases RECS and then allocates them to state agencies as a portion of their annual electricity consumption. UW-Platteville was allocated and paid for 2.76% of UW-Systems' 67,462,276 RECS in FY19. An update to this report is not available at this time.
