Edible Landscaping

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
In Spring of 2023 the garden began to be used for an undergraduate research project to explore the connections between community garden space and the perceptions of health and well-being and food security in the local community. The garden is still managed organically (without any herbicides or pesticides) these plants encouraged our community to consider healthy food choices, agriculture practices, and the value and potential productivity of lawns and landscaping.
