In past years During Welcome Weekend, which is open to all incoming students, we provide the following sustainability programming:
1) Provide waste handling education at the scavenger hunt lunch picnic,
2) Offer three different community service opportunities directly related to sustainability at the "Pay it Forward" volunteer event.
3) The students are informed of free bus rides to promote use of the public bus system.
4)Student volunteers also stencil "No Dumping, Drains to River" on curbs near key storm water intake grates on campus.
