A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
An ad hoc committee was formed in 2016 to research this question. We emailed all teaching faculty and staff to ask them whether their researched focused on sustainability. This list includes all those that said they did. In 2022 the Provost Office updated the list by reaching out to existing faculty on this list and reaching out to new faculty across campus.
