Clean and renewable electricity
kWh | MMBtu | |
Imported electricity from certified/verified clean and renewable sources (i.e., bundled green power purchases) | 0 Kilowatt-hours | 0 MMBtu |
Electricity from on-site, clean and renewable sources (rights retained/retired) | 1,407 Kilowatt-hours | 4.80 MMBtu |
A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable electricity:
---
A brief description of the on-site renewable electricity generating facilities/devices:
We have a small wind tower (20Kw) and several solar panels on Engineering Hall(5kw). The wind turbine was broken much of this year and our standard tracking method went down in Jan. 2019 so we are missing data. We only are reporting what we were able to accurately track.

Unbundled renewable energy products
kWh | MMBtu | |
Purchased RECs, GOs, I-RECs or equivalent unbundled renewable energy products certified by a third party | 1,861,959 Kilowatt-hours | 6,353.00 MMBtu |
A brief description of the unbundled renewable energy products:
The Wisconsin Department of Administration purchases RECS and then allocates them to state agencies as a portion of their annual electricity consumption. UW-Platteville was allocated and paid for 2.76% of UW-Systems' 67,462,276 RECS in FY19.
