A brief description of the institution’s programs that help increase the diversity of higher education faculty:
UW-Platteville has the "University Fellows" program which brings diverse faculty to UW-Platteville. University Fellowships are awarded via a national search administered by the Assistant Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion on behalf of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. The fellowships are given to individuals who, in the judgment of the departments, deans, and Assistant Chancellor, have demonstrated superior academic achievement, are committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level, show promise of future achievement as scholars and teachers, and are well prepared to use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.
