Name of the campaign (2nd campaign):
Litterati campaign

A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):
This year for April (Earth Month) we utilized the app Litterati to have our three campuses participate in a month-long clean up campaign.
"Every piece that is documented with a photo on the app between April 5th and April 30th will be included in our challenge! Going into the grocery store? Pick up litter! At the bus stop? Pick up litter! Out for a walk? Pick up litter!"

From the participation levels and success, we are planning to do this for at least one month during each semester (Earth Charter Month- October, Earth Month- April)

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):
Our goal for UWO campuses was 500 pieces with the outcome being 700+ by the end of the month. The litter clean-up spanned from UWO-Fox Cities down to UWO-Fond du Lac, encompassing the Fox River and Lake Winnebago region. From this success, we are committed to making this an ongoing challenge with our university!
