A brief description of the policies and/or guidelines to improve outdoor air quality and minimize air pollutant emissions from mobile sources:
Under State guidelines, UW Oshkosh boilers and equipment must operate in accordance with DNR and EPA environmental regulations. Stack emissions are tested on a regular basis. A bag-house scrubber was added to the heating plant in 2004 to trap particulate emissions and mercury from the stack.
