Does the institution have a local offsets program through which the institution seeks to offset its greenhouse gas emissions by implementing projects that reduce GHG emissions in the local community?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh opened a commercial-scale dry anaerobic biodigester in 2011. Feedstock includes community yard waste and supermarket food waste. The plant sells electricity, but carbon offset credits (for methane destruction) could be retired to offset the greenhouse gas emissions for 2011.
