A brief description of the institution’s workplace health and safety initiatives:

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee highly values all of its employees and is responsible for providing a safe place to work. Supervisors and managers are trained to handle all health and safety issues in their respective departments to ensure that staff is properly cared for and all preventative measures are taken to reduce injury and illness. UWM follows all Performance and Accountability Standards required by Wisconsin Statute 36.115(4).
