The current means of employee satisfaction and engagement occurring at UW-Milwaukee revolve around the intense engagement, listening sessions and feedback to handle the large budget cut handed down by the state. UW-Milwaukee has held a very open, representative series of committees and sessions to hear from the campus faculty, staff, and students regarding institutional strategies to make the $30 million cuts over a two year period, while also unable to raise tuition.
