The Master Plan focuses on those goals that relate to the physical development of the campus, although goals related to campus life, community engagement, and sustainability in academics are also discussed. The Master Plan includes Building Guidelines for high-performance buildings and a comprehensive campus landscape design that is sustainable and environmentally responsible, economical and practical to maintain, and responds to climate and natural conditions of the site. Specific objectives and targets for resource consumption are provided for water resources, energy, emissions, transportation, and natural resources / landscapes.
