The labor rights code of conduct for licensees:
W licensed manufacturers are contractually obliged to conform to the university’s Code of Conduct (https://licensing.wisc.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/88/2021/03/flm-code-of-conduct-wisconsin.pdf). This Code and its enforcement were implemented to ensure that manufacturers of UW emblematic products respect workers’ rights.
The University’s Labor Codes and Licensing Advisory Committee (LCLAC, https://licensing.wisc.edu/code-of-conduct/) — a committee comprised of faculty, students, and administrators — attends to questions of the Code’s implementation and enforcement. Working with committed licensees, the Worker Rights Consortium, Fanatics Licensing Management and other interested parties, the University has helped to remedy violations to the University’s Code.
