A brief description of how the figure above was determined:
Utilizing internal dashboards from the UWEC department of Institutional Research, the sustainability coordinator collected data for the programs below. These programs have been identified as sustainability-focused or related programs in the Undergraduate Program or Graduate Program credit, and/or require successful completion of a sustainability-focused course as identified in the Academic Courses credit. Majors with sustainability courses that were not required for all graduates as a component of their degree were excluded (for example, chemistry has sustainability classes like "CHEM 127 Chemistry and Climate (3 crs)" but the classes do not fulfill degree requirements for chemistry students. Additionally, while Liberal Studies majors generally tend towards sustainability degrees, there is no dashboard records of which students did and did not complete sustainability degrees, so this major was also excluded from the count.
